Matriarch Doula Mentorship
You heard the calling! Maybe you are excited to explore birth work or maybe you’ve completed your training or certification. Now what?
I remember completing my DONA workshop and feeling adrift and alone not having a clue how to get clients, much less navigate the terrain of being a small business owner! I scrambled and struggled to network and make connections to create a web of support that would lead to an invaluable referral and support community. You don’t need to struggle like I did! Every doula deserves a doula, to guide them through a new and unfamiliar landscape! After 11+ years as a Birth Doula, accumulating multiple trainings & Certifications, I’ve seen the terrain of birth work shift & change. I’ve also had the opportunity to experience many various scenarios in birth. I’ve learned a few things along the way, and now I want to share that wisdom with you!
That’s why I’ve created Matriach Doula Mentorship. This offering begins with an exploratory call to assess your needs and goals. If we both agree that Matriarch is a good fit, you will select the tier and commitment that feels right for you! Matriarch is so much more than a training….It is a relationship and container that will hold you as you navigate this work!
The amount of topics we can cover in our time together is limitless and the depth we can go to is a truly unique opportunity that you just won’t find in other trainings. Topics that include practical considerations, nervous system regulation, resourcing your own intuition, exploring your own beliefs about birth are all worthy of our time together. We won’t just be exploring your professional growth, you’ll be given the opportunity to grow as a person and expand your capacity to serve families in a profound and meaningful way.

“At Ohana, we value respect for birthing autonomy, experience, kindness, hard work, and thoughtful, responsive care. We’ve attended births with Gabe, and she personifies these qualities in a doula. Her presence in the birthing space is reassuring, grounded, and warm. At the same time, she’s always working for her client, observing the care team, and making adjustments that enhance her client’s experience. Honestly, we just love walking into a labor and seeing that Gabe is there! And we also love the idea of working with doulas who have mentored with Gabe…we know those doulas will embody the same compassionate and thoughtful care as Gabe.” — Laura Gray, CNM of Ohana Midwifery
